Teacher and former student dating

If you feel like you like him and are safe with dating him I'd say do what you want but there's no real problem to it. Get to know him a bit more if you are, make sure he's not looking for a fling (unless you're into that who knows haha) and why worry about what others say?

It's what you feel that should be most important to you This teacher only taught me for about 3 months during the first year of sixth form and I've met him again a year and a half after finishing sixth form.

We bumped into each other about 2 months ago and he recognised my face but didn't remember my name and we just had a normal conversation about how we've both been.

I didn't really think too much about it at this point until we were both invited to the same wedding (about 3 weeks ago) and I found out he was friends with my sister's now husband.

This teacher only taught me for about 3 months during the first year of sixth form and I've met him again a year and a half after finishing sixth form.

He lives in the same area as me in a different block of flats.

The following was included in TCTA's 2018-19 Survival Guide, the ultimate reference tool for Texas educators, and is current as of September 2018 but is subject to change.

The main point of this story is that a couple of days ago he told me that he's "kind of had feelings" for me and couldn't "stop thinking about me since the wedding". And if anyone wants to know any thing else, just ask.

It also is a felony for any school district employee to engage in a sexual relationship with a student, even if that student is of the legal age of consent.
